To celebrate the one year anniversary of me releasing One ROM, the most flexible replacement ROM for your retro systems, I’ve released new version of 24, 28, 32 and 40 pin One ROMs. These now have an onboard RGB LED, controllable via plugins, and othe features, including:

  • more image select jumpers and expansion (X) pins on the 28 pin One ROM, giving you greater control
  • native SST39SF040 support on the 32 pin
  • more efficient image storage on the 40 pin, meaning store and switch between more ROM images at runtime.

All existing One ROM Fires remain available and supported - upgrade to the new version if you want the new features, but the old versions will continue to work in your systems.

As usual, all the new designs are released as open source, allowing you to build One ROMs yourself, and to sell them if you’d like.
