One ROM 40 - 16-Bit ROM Replacement for Amiga and Beyond
One ROM goes 16-bit with the new 40 pin version - replacing Amiga Kickstart ROMs and other 16-bit mask programmed ROMs.
In this video I show the moment I get it working, then dive deep into how 16-bit ROM emulation actually works using my new PIO/DMA emulator and One ROM logic analyzer running in your browser. We go through detailed logic analyzer traces showing how a 40 pin 16-bit ROM operates and how One ROM replicates it.
One ROM 40 includes all the same features of the 24 and 28 pin versions - program them via USB, using a browser or the desktop application, switch between different images and more.
As usual, everything is open source, and the design files are available on Github.
